一個國家,最重要的是它的教育,有好的「國家領導人」才能有好的政府,一個「好的母親」直接影響下一代的品格,企業有好主管,員工自然穩定、產生高昂的士氣,然而這一切都來自教育,一個把每個人當成人,而且當成人才的「職學教育」。

主計處於2017年7月統計數據顯示,我國30歲以下的失業人口中,以20至24歲情況最為,甚至是「所有東亞國家」上升幅度最高的。也就是「每10位」應屆畢業生中,就有超過3人深刻自覺「學非所用」,2人「頻換工作」,4人對「工作滿意度極低」,年輕人平均投遞66封履歷,才會一次正式面試的發生。

針對「社會新鮮人」的調查指出,有1/4以上的青年並不清楚自己適合做什麼工作,這僅僅是「保守的統計數字」,從事青年教育工作十多年,我們其實都明白,真實的情況,遠比這個數字更加慘烈許多。

學生「學的用不到,用的學不到」,一片混亂 加上社會眾說紛紜的說法、很多還未被證實的偏差價值觀,似乎大學畢業的選項,不是「讀研究所」就是「去澳洲打工」,不然就是「極度惶恐」或是「宅在家」,也或「亂槍打鳥」,結果便產生「跳槽頻繁」、「工作不穩定」的狀況,與更多浪費社會資源的「勞資問題」,不僅造成青年人「自信心低落」「職場挫敗症候群」,也造成企業、公司很多問題,包括「工作崗位的青黃不接」「焦慮」,所衍伸出來的更是整個世代交接的危機,也就是「人才荒」。

我常常說:「上一代贏在什麼都沒有,而我們這一帶可能輸在什麼都有」,這話有些重 卻也是事實,這幾十年來,各方面的開放與進步,就像電視從三台 到一百五十台,再到youtube 裡有千千萬萬台,生活裡面的每個層面,似乎都多了非常非常多的選擇。選擇多是好事,但大時代下 年輕人缺乏的反而是「自信」與「執著」,在當代的教育之下,強調「規則」缺少了「情感教育」,不是嗎? 潛規則裡面,大多數父母師長所表達出來的:「乖 就是好學生」「聽話 就是優秀」。

這個世界快速變遷,人工智能將取代大部分人力的工作,網路的發明更使一切的「資訊」成了「免費的工具」,在「舊式」教育下誕生的孩子,反而被凸顯出「不知如何做選擇」,因為我們教導他們「道理」,卻沒有讓他們「找到自己」,一個從未經歷「自我探索」的人,可能會是抑鬱的,也可能是狂妄的,並且在人生路口,不容易做出相對正確的決定,做了決定 也不太容易自己去承擔;當對自己做決定的「自信心不足」時,在工作上的表現顯得遲疑,因為「不確定」就導致了「不穩定」。這些內在的問題(或者可以說是缺陷),往前可以追溯到學齡前,最早期的「家庭教育」,也或許延伸至「中學教育體系」。

台灣「大專院校」有超過「2800」個的科系;每年有「1/3以上的大學生」後悔自己「選錯科系」;其中「1/4以上的大學生」想要(或始進行)「轉系或重考」。根據「台灣青年職涯調查」,「1,128位受訪者」中,有「超過6成」對於自己的職涯未來「恐懼、不敢多想」一片茫然:「不知道自己的選擇、判斷是否正確」是整個時代的年輕人,每日正飽受來自自己心裡,最大的痛苦與困難。

我們應當協助年輕人確認「PQ」(「P」是「Passion」,也就是「熱情」的縮寫)認識自己的熱情,得以勾勒 或說是選擇自己真正該走的人生之路。過去一般在「職場面試」時,會從「推薦信」和「個人論文」中開始尋找適合的人才,但是 在我們多年做面試考評的經驗,一般都可以得知,這樣的資訊真的「太薄弱了」,因為根本看不出來應試者「內在、性格 真實的狀態」。這太重要了,因為職場的工作,不是一個「單一的動作反覆」,而是「綿密且多面向快速思考反應的藝術」,若是能更早認識夥伴的「熱情、特質取向」:就好像一個認識多年的「老朋友」一樣,更有機會「知人」以至於「善任」。

「初入職新人」除了基本學習條件外,更可以了解「可以與他人合作的模式」,減少許多的人際擦撞,而這個工具,我們稱他為(Passion Quotient)PQ,若能有「嚴謹專業研究」「教練分析」「專業對談」「師徒陪伴關係」,對自己的熱情「一窺究竟」。因為我們很希望,透過「Mentor的生命對談」去大量支撐、陪伴年輕人,陪他們找到自己、喜歡自己、發揮自己且擁抱職場、祝福這個世界。

試想,如果有一萬個年輕人都深切的認識自己,且被放在對的位置裡,去為某一件「就算不給他錢也要死命做(因為是他自己想做有熱情的事)」的努力,自然的,他一定會做的「非常非常好」,不只是「好(GOOD)」,更會是「傑出(OUTSTANDING )」。

再試想,若是他們都在我國(或全世界)政治、科學、航太、生物科技、餐飲、藝術,是何等的風景,再試想,若是這些年輕人站上聯合國所提出的「17項永續議題」的位置努力,將對人類社會與文明的延續,帶來極具關鍵的影響力。

讓我們支撐年輕人去「了解自己的特質」「接受自己是獨特的」「善用自己的強項」,進而協助進入相對性的職場或領域發展或學習,亦培養成為「生命陪伴」「職場工作」「熱情探索」的三棲教練,再往下去支撐下一代,如此生生不息,造成共好、共行、共創的善循環,對這個世界造成正向的改變。
